Check Out All the Black Friday 2025 Video Game Deals in Canada!

If you’re shopping for video games this holiday season, now’s the time to do it!

Black Friday has surpassed Boxing Day in Canada for discounts, so the majority of the deals on consoles and other video game-related items are worth picking up over the next week. The bulk of deals launched as of November 20, so we’ll be adding deals to this list as they become available.

Nintendo Switch & Switch 2

Firstly — there are no discounts on Switch 2 consoles. If you want to get one for the holidays, you’re best off grabbing the Switch 2 Mario Kart World or Pokémon Legends: Z-A bundles and shaving a little bit off the cost there.

If you’re a Costco member, you can pick up a Mario Kart Switch 2 Bundle + a 12-month Nintendo Online + Expansion Pack membership for $739.99 — This option saves you $80 when compared to buying each item separately.

Switch 2 console only: $629.99

Mario Kart World bought separately: $109.99

Pokémon Legends: Z-A bought separately: $99.99

Nintendo Online + Expansion Pack: $69.99 (for 1 year individual membership)

Nintendo is offering the Nintendo Switch console bundled with Nintendo Switch Sports & a Lego Strap for $419.99 this Black Friday if you *really* want to buy the last generation Switch. This essentially gets you Switch Sports for free as Nintendo Switch base consoles now cost $419.99 after a price increase earlier this year (from $399.99). But it’s worth noting that some newer games like Mario Kart World and Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment are only playable on Switch 2, while the vast majority of Switch games are playable on the Switch 2. Also if you really want to purchase Nintendo Switch Sports, it’s on sale for $54.99 this Black Friday.

Games

A selection of first-party Switch games will be on sale for Black Friday for either $54.99 or $59.99 (most Nintendo Switch games now cost $84.99 regularly after this year’s price increase from $79.99). These titles are for Nintendo Switch, but are all playable on Nintendo Switch 2 (with some having upgrade options).

PlayStation 5

If you’re looking to grab a PS5 this holiday season, now is the time to do it. Black Friday has had the better discounts on PlayStations for years, and a good bulk of its accessories also go on sale.

Every year, PlayStation tends to bundle their console with something, and this Black Friday you can grab the Fotrnite Flowering Chaos bundle starting from $449.99. Fortnite is free to play, but the console comes with PlayStation-exclusive cosmetics for the game, plus 1,000 V-bucks — Fortnite’s in-game currency (worth $11.99).

Xbox Series X|S

Microsoft hasn’t revealed any discounts on their consoles yet. As of November 20th, you can find deals on their controllers, headsets, and a few games.
