Canada Computers & Electronics recently learned of a data breach which may have exposed information of some of its customers.

Who is Impacted?
Canada Computers customers who checked out online as “guests” between December 29, 2025 and January 22, 2026 and entered their personal information were impacted. Canada Computers has claimed that impacted customers were informed on January 25, 2026.
Customers who logged in and checked out using their Canada Computers member account were not impacted.
What was Leaked?
Customers’ personal information — including credit card information was compromised.
What Should You Do?
Canada Computers has stated that they informed impacted customers, but if you’re worried that you may have had information compromised in this leak, be sure to closely monitor your accounts, keep track of financial statements and update any information if needed.
If you received a message from Canada Computers that you were impacted in the leak, they’ll be offering complimentary two-year credit monitoring and identity protection services. Enrollment details will be communicated directly to those affected later on.
The investigation into the data breach is still ongoing.
